The 75th Grand Highland Military Ball takes place at Calgary’s Fairmont Palliser on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. We are highlighting our proud participation in the challenges that our country faces today and in the future.

 

WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THIS YEAR'S THEME

 

80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands

 

Celebrating the remarkable role played by the Calgary Highlanders in this historic effort. The evening will spotlight the legacy of our proud regiment and its enduring traditions, while also showcasing the vital contributions the Calgary Highlanders (10th Canadians) make today toward a stronger, safer province and world.

Currently, 26 members of The Calgary Highlanders are deployed internationally. One officer is stationed in Jordan as part of Operation Impact, where they are involved in training armies in the Middle East region. Additionally, 25 soldiers are deployed to Latvia under Operation Reassurance, providing a forward presence to deter potential threats. Beyond their international efforts, the Highlanders have remained active at home. For the second consecutive year, they have been deployed within Alberta to safeguard people and property from wildfires, most recently in Jasper. As part of Operation Lentus, 25 Highlanders were on the ground, with two serving in leadership roles.

The Foundation provides for the needs of these remarkable citizen-soldiers, whether it's sending care packages to deployed soldiers, funding the cadet program for future leaders, or supporting the family association. The Foundation’s Board is composed of all volunteers who are deeply grateful for your generosity as they serve with passion and purpose.

Tickets for the 75th Grand Highland Military Ball are available with a donation to the CHRFF. We gratefully welcome donations to the CHRFF in any amount. For donations under $1,000, if you would like to attend the ball, please indicate your interest, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
